Sandra Faye Heffner Collins

Great Falls Mrs. Sandra Faye Heffner Collins, 70, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Piedmont Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev. Dale Walters officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church. Sandra was born May 5, 1952 in Lancaster, SC. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and formerly employed with J.P. Stevens and later worked in the cafeteria with the Great Falls school system. Sandra was a member of Mitford Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, David “Bubba” Collins; three sons, Wayne Wright (Tammy) of Blackstock, Adam Collins (Neely) of Great Falls and Russ Collins (Becky) of Great Falls; one daughter, Beth Stell of Catawba; grandchildren, April (Michael), Jess, and Patrick (Jamie), Ben (Alivia), Amy, Caleb, Miranda, Savannah (Tristin)and her sidekick and partner in crime, Matthew (Melanie); six great grandchildren; one brother, Pete Heffner (Sandra); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Maude “Maw” and Earl “June Bug” Heffner. Memorials may be made to Mitford Baptist Church, P.O. Box 494, Great Falls, SC 29055.
