Sara Lou Mcelduff Mccaston

Mrs. Sara Lou McElduff McCaston, 95, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 peacefully at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. JD Wilson and Rev. Rick Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, March 22, 2024 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. McCaston was born February 7, 1929 in Great Falls, SC and was the daughter of the late Frances Benjamin McElduff and Rosa Stewart McElduff and was the faithful wife of Carl L. McCaston. She was a 1946 graduate of Great Falls High School and was retired from Ebert Sportswear. Her hobbies included sewing, listening to gospel music, cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Bull (Jim) of Heath Springs, SC, Karen McCaston of Great Falls, SC and Melinda Hunter (Joe) of Lancaster, SC; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McCaston, her daughter, Marilyn Price, brother Benjamin Roy McElduff and her baby sister, Betty Catherine McElduff. Memorials may be made to Mt.
