Sherry Elaine Mcmurray

Sherry Elaine McMurray, 60, died Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Tabernacle Ministries with Rev. Ken Compton officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Sherry was born July 29, 1962 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late John Eugene McMurray and Barbara Jean Moore Collins. She attended Great Falls High School and was a homemaker; she loved her family, her children and grandchildren. Sherry attended Tabernacle Ministries. She is survived by her life partner, Cecil McDaniel, Jr of Chester, SC; one son, D.J. Wilson of Great Fall, SC; step daughters, Stacy Fain of Jackson, TN and Michelle Miller of Arkansas; one grandson, Ryder Shawn Wilson of Chester, SC; one sister, JoAnne Raffaldt (Floyd) of Chester, SC; two brothers, Jimmy McMurray (Judy) of Great Falls, SC and Mike McMurray (Debra) of Chester, SC; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Shawn Wilson and Mitchell Roy Wilson; sister, Gloria Childers and her brother, Billy McMurray.
