Sheryl Baker Ghent

Blackstock Mrs. Sheryl Baker Ghent, 64, died Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at MUSC Health Columbia. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Ghent was born July 16, 1958 in Columbia, SC and was a daughter of Shirley G. Gladden Baker and the late Albertus “Burt” Baker. She was a graduate of Olympic High School and CPCC in Charlotte, NC. She was retired from Southern Industries Construction. Mrs. Ghent was a member of Mitford Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Ghent of eighteen years; one sister, Susan Baker of Great Falls, SC; and her mother, Shirley G. Baker. In addition to her father Albertus “Burt” Baker she was preceded in death by her sister Lydia Baker.
