Blackstock Mrs. Shirley Gibson Noland, 74, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her home.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Greg Batchelor officiating.Interment will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Noland was born July 13, 1938 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Charles Lewis Gibson and Ada Mae Reid Gibson.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and attended USC at Lancaster.She was formerly employedwith Stevenson-Weir Company and a member of First Baptist Church.Her priorities were her Savior, her family, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Wade Noland and wife Leigh Anne and Jan Noland and wife Melody both of Great Falls; two daughters, Phyllis Berry and husband Ron of Lugoff and Donna Case of Great Falls; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister Peggy Sims of Blackstock.
