Sylvia Irene Blackwell

Mrs. Sylvia Irene Davis Blackwell ,73, died Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Springs Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, at Heath Chapel U.M.C. with Rev. David Ussery officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday April 25, at Heath Chapel U.M.C. Church. Mrs. Blackwell was born October 9, 1944 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late Marvin Davis and Ruby Irene Neal Davis. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and Queens College in Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Blackwell was retired from Duracell in Lancaster SC. She was a member of Heath Chapel U.M.C. where she was an alternate pianist. She is survived by her three children, Stephen Blackwell, Jeffery T.Blackwell, and Melissa Moss all of Great Falls; two grandchildren, Brandi Moss and C.J. Moss of Great Falls; two great grandchildren, Carli Humphries and Maci Lynn Moss of Great Falls; two brothers, Larry McKeown(Cheryl) of Lake Wateree and Terry McKeown (Patricia) of Great Falls. Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by one brother, Jack McKeown and her stepfather, Lee Max McKeown and her mother Ruby Neal McKeown.
