Terry Wayne Waters

Great Falls Mr. Terry Wayne Waters, 50, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. David Ussery and Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.Interment will follow at Heath Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Waters was born May 10, 1964 in Austell, Georgia and was a son of the late Bobby Eugene Waters and Darnell Eudy Waters.He was a graduate of McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, York Technical College and attended USC-Lancaster.He was retired from Camden Developments and was formerly employed with Continental Tire.Mr. Waters was an avid bass fisherman and a member of Lancaster Bassmasters.He also enjoyed hunting, working in his shop and keeping his garden.He was a member of Heath Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Cindie R. Waters; one daughter, Kristan W. Swygart (Jamie) and three grandchildren, Ally Marie McKeown, Laken Faith Swygart, and Brantlee Laine Swygart all of Great Falls; one brother, Russell E. Waters (Karen)and two sisters, Annette Ashley and Janet Payseur (Nathan) all of Great Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and life-long friends, Ron Ledford of Clover, Jeff Parker of Mitford, Greg Sigmon of Lancaster, and Joey Caskey of Lancaster.
