Thomas K. "Doc" Armstrong Great Falls, SC: Mr. Thomas K. "Doc" Armstrong, age 92 of Orangeburg, SC, formerly of Great Falls, died Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Great Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Roger Knight and Rev. Marion Dry officiating. Interment will be private. He was the widower of Jessie Best Armstrong. He was born in Fort Lawn, SC a son of the late Richard F. and Mattie Ferguson Armstrong, attended the schools of Chester County, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was a retired transmission line supervisor at Duke Power Company with 37 years of service. Doc was also a long-time employee of Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Surviving are two daughters, Rachel Lorick and husband Wayne of Orangeburg, SC and Esther Armstrong of Ford, VA; two grandchildren, Michelle Arant and husband John and Dione Hughes and husband Jason of Orangeburg, SC; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Rebecca Arant; and two brothers, Dan Armstrong of Rock Hill, SC and Frank Armstrong of Odon, Indiana. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ~ 7:30 PM Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls, SC. Memorials may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, P. O.
