Chester Mr. Thomas Calvin Woods, 62, died Thursday, April 11, 2012, in Catawba, SC at the home of his brother.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls, SC with Rev. Guy Dormant officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Sunday, April 14, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Woods was born May 9, 1950 in Fairfield County, SC and was a son of the late Chevis Woods, Sr. and Pearl Dawkins Woods.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and formerly worked for Springs Industries. He is survived by four brothers, Chevis Woods, Jr. and wife Linda of Lancaster, Roger Woods of Great Falls, Furman Woods and wife Barbara of Carlisle, and Charles Woods and wife Yvonne of Catawba; two sisters, Virginia Pack and husband Leonard and Diane Wilburn and husband Bobby both of Blackstock; a special nephew, Robert L. Woods of Lancaster County; and numerous other nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lindsay Woods, Carl Woods, and Jimmy Woods.
