Timothy Wayne Doster

Blackstock Mr. Timothy Wayne Doster, 55, died Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Atrium Health Pineville. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2023, at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday, October 9, at Mitford Baptist Church. Interment will be private. Mr. Doster was born May 4, 1968 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Harrison White Doster and Lynda Carol Godbee Doster . He was a graduate of Great Falls High School Class of 1988 and was retired from Transaxle Manufacturing of America. Timothy was a member of Mitford Baptist Church where he served as an usher and greeter and helped with VBS and the Brotherhood. He was an avid fisherman, loved Nascar and drag racing. His football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. He is survived by one brother, Kirby Godbee of Richburg ; one sister, Charlotte Taylor (David) of Blackstock; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Caldwell and Mary Taylor. Memorials may be made to Mitford Baptist Church, P.O. Box 494, Great Falls, SC 29055.
