Great Falls Mr. Troy David Banks, Sr., 63, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Tabernacle Ministries with Rev. Kenneth Compton officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, at the home of Bridget Banks, 3286 Great Falls Hwy., Richburg, SC. Mr. Banks was born July 27, 1953 in Lancaster, SC and was a son of the late Troy Banks and Eleanor Spinks Banks.He attended the schools of Great Falls and received his GED while serving in the military and received his degree in heating & air at York Tech.Mr. Banks was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam.He was a retired 9-1-1 dispatcher for Chester and York Counties.Mr. Bank was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife, Crystal F. Banks; two sons, Troy D. Banks, Jr. (Sarah) of Lancaster and Anthony Bryan Banks, Sr. of Great Falls; two daughters, Bridget Banks (George Andrews) of Richburg and Brandy Banks, (Dalton Alton) of Blackstock; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Terry Banks (Rhonda) of Ft. Lawn; one sister, Vickey Trent (John) of Ft. Lawn; and one uncle, Michael Spinks of T. Lawn.Mr. Banks was preceded in death by a brother, Darryl Banks and an infant sister, Laura Lynn Banks.
