Vera Geraldine Thomas

Great Falls, Mrs. Vera Geraldine Rape Thomas, 75, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with the Reverend Grover Johnson and Reverend Greg Batchelor officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. in the Church Sanctuary Born August 15, 1935 in Great Falls, Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of the late John W. and Pearle Hemric Rape and the widow of Carl Thomas. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and Weaver Airline School. Mrs. Thomas was a Member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a Supervisor at the Cinderella Plant in Great Falls. She is survived by Two daughters; Susan Thomas Franklin and husband JR, Jackie Thomas Hensley and husband David Both of Great Falls; Two Grandsons; Will Franklin of Rock Hill, Kyle Hensley of Great Falls; Three Granddaughters; Beth Broom, Katie Hensley both of Great Falls, Allison Manning of Rock Hill; Three Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Melvin Rape, Frank Rape, Jerry Rape and Donald Rape.
