Great Falls Mrs. Vivian “Vickie” Christopher Martin, 64, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at her home.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Mt. Dearborn United Methodist Church with Rev. David Ussery and Rev. Scott Smoak officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Martin was born April 5, 1949 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late Marion Walker Christopher and Thelma Knisley Christopher.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and USC-Lancaster.Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Dearborn United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Charles M. “Chuck” Martin and wife Page of Chester; one daughter, Christina M. Peace and husband Michael of Hanahan, SC; three grandchildren, Hannah Peace and Miriam Peace both of Hanahan and Turner Marion Martin of Chester; and one brother, Walker Christopher of Lancaster.She was the widow of Charles William Martin.
