Great Falls Mr. Wade Dexter Noland, 73, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his home.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Simpson officiating.Interment will follow at Mt. Zion cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Born July 4, 1943, he was a son of the late Wade Noland and Gertrude Kilgo Noland and the widower of Margaret “Sissy” Noland.Mr. Noland was a graduate of Great Falls High School and served in the National Guard during Viet Nam Era.He was the former owner/operator of D & D Foundry.Mr. Noland was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, a Teacher and servedon various committees.He was known by church members as “Cookie Monster.” Mr. Noland is survived by his son, Duncan Noland (Kelli) of Aynor, SC; two daughters, Brantlee Noland of Great Falls, SC and Brooke Noland Given (Dr. Jason Given) of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Olivia Noland, Blaine Noland, and Nora Given.
