Wade Hampton Shupe

Richburg Mr. Wade Hampton Shupe, Jr., 78, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Great Falls Church of God with Rev. Travis Shirley and Rev. Roy Puckett officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at Great Falls Church of God. Mr. Shupe was born July 3, 1940 in Norton, Virginia and was a son of the late Wade Hampton Shupe, Sr. and Gladys William Shupe.He was a 15 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served 23 years with the Chester County National Guard.Mr. Shupe attended York Tech after his service in the Marines.He was a member of Great Falls Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lee Puckett Shupe; one daughter, Jessica Morrison (Christopher) of Richburg; three sons, Wade Keith Shupe (Jennifer) of Great Falls, Johnny Darin Shupe of Richburg and Chris Allen Shupe (Lori) of Great Falls; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Wallace Shupe of Great Falls; and two sisters, Pat Perry of Missouri and Marilyn Shupe of California.
