Lancaster, SC: Mr. William Thomas Carter, 60, of 3945 Major Evans Road died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at his residence. A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls, SC with Reverend Allen Derrick officiating. Mr. Carter was a native of Lancaster, SC. He was a graduate of Great Falls high school, a member of Second Baptist Church, Lancaster, SC and a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Bazemore and her husband Rick of Edgemoor, SC, two granchildren, Bryson and Grayson Bazemore of Edgemoor, SC, sister-in-law, Lynne Carter of Lancaster, SC, one niece, Becky Adams of Lancaster, SC and one nephew Mike Carter of Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 Monday afternoon at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls, SC.
