William Linton Lane

Great Falls Mr. William Linton Lane, 71, died Friday, July 7, 2017, at this home.The family will receive friends at the home, 1 Lynn Lane, Great Falls, SC, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017. All services are private. Mr. Lane was born November 27, 1945 in Patterson, New Jersey and was a son of the late Henry Albert Lane and Odessa Roberts Lane.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam.Mr. Lane was retired from U.S. Plywood as a press operator. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hallman Lane; two sons, William Russell “Rusty” Lane and Scott Lane both of Great Falls; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Patricia Bearden of Columbiana, Alabama, Deb Hinds Lane of Mt. Holly, NC and Bonnie Williams of Lancaster, SC. Memorials may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, P.O. Box 191, Great Falls, SC 29055.
