William Earl Sutherland, Jr.

William Earl "Bill" Sutherland, Jr., 84, peacefully went to Heaven on Monday, October 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by family and special caregiver, Joe.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Lake Wateree Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Morrison officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday at the church.

Bill was born February 2, 1941 in Nelson County, KY and was a son of the late William Earl Sutherland, Sr. and Mildred Greenwell Sutherland.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired as a site superintendent in commercial construction.  Bill was a member of Lake Wateree Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Nadine Gladden Sutherland; a daughter, "Jackie" Brigman; sisters, Carolyn, Norma, Mary Jo, Ann and Joan; and brothers, Billy and Fred.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sylvia Lynn McDaniel (Wayne); two sons, Billy Sutherland (Helen) and Barry Sutherland (Missy).  He was "Paw" to grandchildren, Kim Corn (James), Shannon Thompson (Brandon), Tyler McDaniel (Whitney), Madison Mussard (Chase), Caroline Sutherland, and Miranda Sutherland; ten great grandchildren; his favorite sister-in-law, Peggy Pauley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bill had a special place in his heart for "Team Holley" which includes Holley, Holley and Joe.
