Mr. Steve Wayne Varnadore, 69, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at MUSC Lancaster. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Great Falls Church of God with Rev. Roy Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the fellowship hall of the church. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Varnadore was born March 18, 1955 in Jacksonville, NC and was a son of the late Leslie Lois Varnadore and Margaret Christine Dover Varnadore. He was a graduate of White Oak High School in Jacksonville, NC and was former Fire Chief of the Great Falls Fire Department. Steve was a member of Great Falls Church of God.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Lynn Hargett Varnadore; one son, Paul Michael Varnadore (Nikky) of York, SC; one daughter, Stacy Delores Varnadore of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Dean Varnadore of Jacksonville. NC.
