Mrs. Vera Helen Deese Wright, 89, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025. All services will be private.

Mrs. Wright was born March 8, 1935 in Lancaster, SC and was the daughter of the late Leavi Deese and Ella Pardue Deese. She attended Lancaster High School and was retired from Springs Industries. Mrs. Wright attended Lancaster Holiness Church.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Roberts of Tampa, FL; her nephew and caregiver, Tim Morris; niece, Debbie Flynn and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wright; son, Stephen Deese; grandson, Jody Deese and granddaughter, Stephanie Deese.
