Great Falls Mr. Arthur Roland Price, 93, died Monday, November 15, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Chaplin John Riebe officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at The Price Family Cemetery. Mr. Price was born May 8, 1928 in Cherokee County, SC and was a son of the late Fred Roland Price and Hester Clary Price. He was a graduate of Spartanburg County Schools and was manager of Rocky Creek and Great Falls Power Plants. Mr. Price was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Griffin (Joseph) of Irmo, SC; two grandchildren, Allison Ellenwood (Mark) of Irmo, SC and Lynn Crumpton (Ronnie) of West Columbia, SC; five great-grandchildren, Naudiya and Noah Ellenwood of Irmo, SC, Cooper, Brooklyn and Grayson of West Columbia, SC. one brother, Roy “Sug” Price of Goose Creek, SC; Fredree Davis of Spartanburg, SC, Betty Scruggs of Cowpens, SC, Louise Davis of Greenville, SC, Sue Fowler of Spartanburg, SC, Nancy Scruggs of Cowpens, SC, Rita Reynolds of Cowpens, SC.
