Mr. Billy Joe Henson

Great Falls Mr. Billy Joe Henson, 78, died Monday, April 19, 2021, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, April 23, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Henry Adams officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home at 18 Brookline St., Great Falls and immediately following the service at the graveside. Mr. Henson was born May 4, 1942 in Chester County, SC and was a son of the late J. W. Henson and Daisy Scott Gibson Henson. He attended the schools of Great Falls and was retired from J.P. Stevens and Lance Corporation. Mr. Henson was a member of Great Falls Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Blakley of Richburg; one brother, Curtis Hinson (Ruth) of Rock Hill; one sister, Betty Horton (Willie) of Great Falls; five grandchildren, Crystal Berryhill, Kevin Godbee, B.J. Henson, Autumn Henson and Russell Walden.; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Henson; and two sons, Bobby Walden and Ray Henson.
